Life OS Health · last updated 9 September 2026
Life OS Health is a personal application used by one person — its author — to read his own health data. It has no other users and collects nothing from anyone else.
What data is accessed
With the account owner's explicit consent, the application reads the following categories from the Google Health API:
- Activity and fitness — steps, distance, active minutes, energy expenditure, workouts.
- Health metrics and measurements — heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature, weight, body composition.
- Sleep — sleep sessions, stages and their summaries.
All access is read-only. The application never creates, modifies or deletes data in the connected Google account.
How the data is used
Solely to build a personal long-term record of the account owner's own measurements, for his own review. The data is not analysed on anyone's behalf, not used to train any model, not used for advertising, and not used to make decisions about any other person.
How the data is stored
Retrieved data is written to plain files on the account owner's personal computer. There is no server, no database and no cloud storage component. Authorisation tokens are stored in a single local file readable only by the operating-system user account that runs the application.
Sharing
None. The data is not transmitted, sold, published or disclosed to any third party. No analytics, tracking or telemetry of any kind is present in the application or on this website.
Limited Use
Life OS Health's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and revocation
The account owner can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all further access. Data already stored locally is retained until deleted by the account owner, who can remove it at any time by deleting the local files.
Children
The application is not directed at children and is not made available to anyone other than its author.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date.
